Welcoming the New Year

The school year has gotten off to a fabulous start! Thanks parents, for preparing your children well and for bringing in all of the necessary supplies to make your children happy at the Gan. We are delighted to welcome new families, new staff, and our "experienced" Gan members to the 2013-2014 school year.
Please remember to label items sent in and also that we have a Lost and Found located outside my office for unlabeled items we find. If you happen to lose something, this is a great place to look (after your child's classroom). We also have a Parent Lending Library in the same bookcase as the Lost and Found. Feel free to check out a book or, if you prefer, you may always check out books from the Adas Library on the third floor. The books in the Gan space are mostly parenting/child development books.
Please remember a few other "amenities" available to you when you visit the Gan:

  • The GPA keeps the Parent Lounge area supplied with coffee & tea (Milk is in the Gan refrigerator if you desire; help yourself.)
  • WiFi is available throughout the building. See a staff member for the password.
  • The Avraham Biran Beit Midrash is available for study or work. Sometime after the holidays, coffee will also be for sale there.

As your family becomes adjusted to the New Year (school and Jewish years), please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to make your year better. We are happy to listen.

Shanah Tovah. G'mar Hatimah Tovah. Happy New Year! May you be inscribed (in the book of Life) for Good.
