Silent Auction: November 17

  • Auction Chair: Sanda Blank
  • Food/Beverage/Décor Chairs: Laurel Goldberg , Carin Levine
  • Class Projects Chair: Sarah Rosand
  • All volunteer positions filled.
  • While making bids on a great selection of items, we will have food, wine, and lots of fun.  The silent auction helps support Gan activities and programs.  We need the help of all of our parents to make this fund raising event a success.  The co-chairs oversee the event and work with all of the committee chairs. Committee chairs are Food/Beverage/Décor; Class Projects; and Solicitations. There is something for everyone at all skill levels at this event!  All volunteers help set up the day of the event, help check people in and out, stay late to clean up, and follow up to make sure all prizes are claimed.  This is a big undertaking, and we need lots of help.

Concerts: January 27, March 3

  • Chair: Debbie Sans
  • Have chair, Need 2 volunteers
  • This acts as a mood-lifter on a cold, wintry Sunday morning.  The Co-Chairs book age-appropriate performers, purchase snacks, advertise the event, and help with registration.  This program was new last year and was well-attended.

Truck Day: May 8

  • Co-chairs: Jeremy Steindecker, Nienke Grossman
  • Have 2 co-chairs, need 1-2 volunteers
  • This is a highlight for many of our children.  The parking lot is closed and filled with large trucks, including a dump truck, delivery truck, fire truck, and mail truck.  Held during school, children go with their classes to explore the trucks. The co-chairs coordinate getting the trucks to the event and works with the synagogue to make sure the day goes smoothly.
