Sandwich Brigade: April 16 and 17
Once each month, families are asked to bring sandwiches and other food donations to school with their children for distribution to the homeless. In this way, our children learn the mitzvah of helping feed the hungry. The co-chairs deliver the sandwiches to Martha’s Table, a worthy organization with which we have a long history.
Please wrap each sandwich individually in a Ziploc bag and then put all of the bags back in the loaf bag. Donations are gathered at the yellow shopping cart at the parking lot entrance to the Gan.
We really appreciate your help in this important mitzvah. This is a great opportunity to get your children involved in helping others. If you have any questions, please email Roger Nehrer and Rachel Schumacher .

Rabbi Parent Child: April 22, 11:00 a.m.
Please join the Rabbi and fellow Gan Parents at 11:00 a.m. for a conversation on Shavuot - What is it (hint: it commemorates God giving the Torah to the Jews) and how can you incorporate the spirit of the holiday into your home.
Afterwards, you'll pick up your child to participate in a craft and activity led by a Gan teacher. The activity will incorporate the upcoming holiday of Shavuot, followed by a lunch together in the Gan Space. There is no cost for the event but please register so we make sure we have enough food.
Babysitting will be provided for Gan-age children not in school on that day of the week.
